OUR PROCESS
We strive to bring a streamlined approach to your RSV season workflow. The only thing the referring physician's staff needs to do is to fax over the referral form (see tab 'Patient Referral') along with the medical documents, and we will handle the rest!
Fax Referral and Documents to SynTherapy
Fax a completed referral form, medical records, front and back of insurance card, as well as demographics.
Be sure to include all specialists' medical records that are corresponding with the criteria marked on the refferal form.
SynTherapy Staff Reviews Referral
Once all documentation is received, our staff will forward the information to our Medial Director who is a pediatric infectious disease specialist.
If additional documentation is needed, our staff will contact your Synagis Coordiantor listed on the referral form.
SynTherapy Determines Eligibility
Based on the insurance plan criteria, our medical director will screen for eligibility for Synagis. We will notify your office via Fax if your patient has been accepted/denied into our program. Once submitted to insurane plans, please allow 1 week for insurance plan's final approval.
The patients' guardians will receive a mailed letter for denial or a call from our staff to set up an appointment if they have been approved.
SynTherapy Provides Synagis to Patient
Based on the number of approved doses, we will schedule appointments at one of our clinic locations, make follow up phone calls, and answer any questions the patients' guardians may have reguarding coverage and treatment.
SynTherapy Follows up for End of Dosing
We will fax a 'Synagis Dosing Completion' letter to your office.
Patients' guardians will also recieve a copy of letter at the last visit.
